OverviewThe Yale Chemical Instrumentation Center is a collection of instruments for molecular structure determination supervised by a professional staff. We are located in Sterling Chemistry Laboratory and in the Chemical Research Building. We are open to all researchers in the Yale community. However, a student or post-doc who wishes to operate instruments in the Center must first obtain approval from his or her research supervisor. The Chemical Instrumentation Center is also available for use by academic or industrial researchers outside of Yale, dependent upon approval by the CIC director. To gain access to the Chemical Instrumentation Center, please Request a Yale CIC Account. Once we have evaluated your needs, you will be instructed in proper operation of the appropriate instrument(s) by a member of the CIC staff.
